Mayan Site of Chicanna

Sited about 10km out of the town of Xpujil, the ruins of the Mayan architecture at Chicanna that we see today were mainly built from 400 - 800 AD. It is small but contains some of the more ornate and interesting Mayan temples. When I was at the site perhaps only a handful of tourists were there.
